Because I’m lazy
I sit and collect dust
Watch the world float by
Dust particles, like snow, fall with gravity and wind
Grey and soft, like myself in old age
My friends, dust bunnies, converse in whispers
Famous last words: I should do something
But I like my bed. To sleep and lay
Look out the window
Decay in time

Triple Threat
This is a trecet, the three line poem
Stanzaic form or poetic whole
In rhyming scheme or nought.
With much to think, I have writ
A turbid triplicate vignette:
Sunny Day we play we play
Whirls in twirly motion
The hula hoop in retro-fashion.
